Rotterdam / London, November 20, 2025 – Safetytech Accelerator, part of Lloyd’s Register, and Platform Zero have formed a groundbreaking alliance to fast-track the adoption of safe, scalable, and regulation-ready zero-emission technologies across global maritime Green Corridors.

While ambitions for decarbonised shipping routes multiply, tangible implementation often lags. Many ports and shipping lines face significant barriers in identifying, piloting, and scaling the green solutions needed for these corridors to deliver on net-zero targets. This new alliance leverages Safetytech Accelerator’s deep regulatory, safety, and assurance expertise with Platform Zero’s innovation and scaling ecosystem, bridging the gap between high-profile corridor announcements and real-world deployment.​

The partnership launches a focused program designed to move from fragmented efforts to coordinated, rapid pilots with measurable decarbonisation outcomes. Through structured collaboration, ports and shipping companies can pool expertise, share investment risk, and dramatically lower the cost and complexity of innovation, driving timely progress on environmental and safety ambitions.​
